four delegates from each local PTA have voting privileges, although PTAs are encouraged to send additional representatives

Council members represent Council on various advisory boards, commissions, interagency committees, and task forces
Supports local PTAs when BCPS develops its operating and capital budgets for the next school year, identifying needs of individual schools and of the school system
