Unit Presidents – If your unit didn’t send in its consent form to be TEMPORARILY covered under the Delaware PTA’s group exemption (Free State PTA is waiting for its exemption to be approved by the IRS), PLEASE send it in! You need to do this to retain your non-profit status. You’ll still be a Maryland corporation, file all Maryland tax forms, and have no obligations to Delaware. Your day-to-day operations won’t change.
